My goal is to eventually have a signed Orioles baseball card of every modern era player to have played in a game for my favorite team. When they do not have a card in an O's uniform or any card at all, I will try to get any autograph available. The project is huge and might be impossible to complete, but hey, it sounds like fun to me!

A Case of the Sundays- Terry Mathews
Can you guess what it is that I don't like about this card?
Clue- I'm trying not to scratch my eyes out. Why, oh why, did I choose to get this card signed?
I have a feeling that this is what cards would look like if the designers were on acid.
That cards looks better than others from the set would. It seems like most of those cards have a lot of black or dark blue on them. I do not have any cards from the set signed, but I think this one looks alright.
DB- you have a good point. I hadn't thought of it like that. Paul- I agree it was all over the place. Zach- I have a few cards signed from that set, and don't really like them much. Oh well, at least they're autographs!
The strange thing is, for a Marlins card, there's lots of orange and black there. It kind of fit in with your Orioles project.
ReplyDeleteThat's one of my least favorite card sets ever. (And yes, I do have a few signed cards from it in my collection.)
