Well THAT Didn't End Well

I don't want to talk about last night's game; it's pretty depressing to have your brand spankin' new closer implode on Opening Day, but there are still 161 chances to win a game.

Here are some positives that I prefer to focus on: Adam Jones, Luke Scott and Matt Wieters all went deep and started the season off on the right foot. And Markakis gunned down the inexplicably-running-from-2nd-base Dioner Navarro at home plate to end the third inning. Millwood had a pretty solid start and the bullpen, up until The Cobra at least, all looked good. Will Ohman made an appearance so he is now officially the 874th player to suit up for the O's in their 57 season history.

In other Orioles news- Michael Aubrey cleared waivers and is back with the Tides. He played well for the Birds at the end of the '09 season and I believe drove in the winning run at the last game of the season. He had a few minor injuries this Spring and never really had a chance to make the team but I expect to see him back in Baltimore soon enough.

This is currently the only card that pictures him in any sort of O's organizational uniform. I really would have preferred that he had signed the card at the top so you could actually see his signature, but at least he signed it. He appears to be celebrating a HR or walk off hit with former Tide Justin Christian and possibly former and current Tide Joey Gathright.
