What the What? Or C'mon People, Stasburg Hasn't Even Made It to the Majors Yet

I've been known to sell a card or two on ebay from time to time, mainly to reinvest in my collection. But it would have been really nice to pull this card.

Click here for the actual ebay auction, it's already at over $10,000 with 4+ days to go.

Image obviously borrowed from ebay

And here is the story that was featured on Yahoo's front page. I think it's been a while since a baseball card made those kind of waves.

Wow, that beats Todd Van Poppel by a long shot.

His autograph numbered to like 250 went for thousands. I bought the same card of Carl Crawford, a proven MLB All Star for 4 bucks. Still, I won't lie, I have that card on my watch list. Solely for the freak factor... I thought people were insane spending 10 bucks on Brien Taylor cards but this trumps that by a bit...

Yeah, this is pretty amazing. It's at like $15K now. It tempts me to buy Bowman and pull something that I could flip for a bunch of O's autos.

And Troll-isn't weird how established perennial All-Stars can be had for the fraction that some of these prospect cards sell for? There's no way that the winner of this auction will EVER make their money back.
