Mike Griffin pitched for the Orioles in 1987 both as a starter and reliever and went 3-5 with a 4.36 ERA.
He has been a pitching coach in the Orioles organization for the past three seasons, starting at AA Bowie in 2008 and filling the role for the AAA Tides in 2009 & 2010. He seems to do good work and has aided in the development of current Orioles Chris Tillman, Brad Bergesen, Jason Berken, David Hernandez and Frank Mata. Jake Arrieta has been tearing up International League hitters all season, so hopefully he will join the O's soon. They sure could use the help. And possibly a new manager...what're you up to Mike?

I've been blessed with a few Dodgers-centric packages in the last month.
They're most appreciated because I get distracted with other non-Dodger
things ...
