Unpossible Autograph Friday- Jim Pyburn

Sadly, another former Oriole passed away over the past week; Jim Pyburn died at the age of 78. After Duane Pillette's passing two weeks ago, it seems that we've reached another unfortunate streak of ex-Orioles' deaths.

I'm glad that I've had Jim's autograph in my collection for quite some time. I received it via a trade with one of my frequent Orioles autograph trade partners, but, sadly, I never got around to sending out a TTM request to him, or I might've had a personalized autograph in my collection.

One thing that I read about Jim that surprised me is that after his baseball career ended, he became a Georgia football assistant coach for 16 seasons.

RIP Jim.
