When I decided to collect Vlad's Orioles cards, I really didn't know what I getting myself into. I mean, I knew that variations were out there, but not to this extent.
This is the black (#ed to 60), target red, walmart blue, and base versions of Vlad's 2011 Topps Update card to go along with my diamond, gold, & cognac versions of it. I know there are different colors and designs involved but to me, I'm kind of just looking at the same card over and over.
This is probably far from breaking news to many of you player/team collectors, but I haven't specifically collected anything but autographs and sets in recent years and the number of variations of just one card is staggering. And I'm sure that I'm still missing a few!
